Teardrop in my eyes
THE moment of truth, the joy surrounding me, 19 out of 27 had 4 'A', the suspense of getting that green slip, the excitement and agony of waiting in line, then there was disappointment. A 'B' for econs, of all things, econs.... ... ... ... ... .... I was speechless. Hwa Chong created yet another record number of students with 4 A Levels Distinction, a full 48% and I am the other 52%. A full glance down the hall, the happiness that showed on everyone's face, the once-all-too-familiar hall started to fade as my vision got blurred. Fighting back does not help, I must let it out, but no, I can't. Others would think that its crap, 3 'A's and you are not happy, but one does not feel the pressure unless you live in that circumstance. I will not be able to go back for College Day, 19 of 01S64 are... I will not be able to get scholarships, many will... I... at least stand a good chance in getting to SCI, I guess that's where the contentment should set in.
