Getting there...
On the 16th of this month, I turned coporal. As of this moment, I have served 468 days out my 913 of slavery contract, with 48.75% left till my day of parole. Looking back, time passed very slowly. It took me more than a year into service to achieve what I wanted since mid-J2. I had wanted to erase the 2.5 years of complete misery from my mental and physical memory, something I had declared in Dec 2002, but I failed. I blogged, I phlogged and I wrote. The memories will remain, but they will not be savoured. Looking back can only push me forward, in search of better time to come.
Huang Cheng
Got myself an audience seat at this year's Huang Cheng, the first time I am viewing it from this perspective. The script was not all that wonderful and technical design in terms of lighting and sound were routine, but nonetheless, it was good. Xie Mu brought back many memories. Regrets, were too late. Then, I thought I never put my heart and soul into Huang Cheng, since I only played a small part in J2, but I did, and they are still left there. The venue, the people, the feelings. It was as though time came to a standstill, trapped in the vortex of VT. Nothing has changed, I wish.
