What a sad 20th birthday I am having this year. My bdae is right smack in the middle of Commercial Stocktake. Even though I have done my part, I still could not get a day off from work! Why, simply because of a black piece of s**t whom did not manage to do that on his bdae sometime back due to unfinished work and complains of differential treatment. So to stop tongues from wagging, our great OC decides that no one can go on leave/off during the whole stocktake period.

But oh well, I have already celebrated it with a dinner with my extended family at Fort Canning on Saturday and my lao cik was so "remorseful" about me unable to go for off that he treated me to lunch and a trip out for coffee at Starbucks. But I din get an early release...sad, happy? No feelings apparently...
