Two weeks in...

Doing this entry all over again..all because I pressed the back button..Arghhh! This year has seemingly gone on an accelerated start, with two weeks in and it feels I like I have not accomplished anything yet. The week has been a really wet one; it rained from last Sunday, all the way till sunshine once again roamed the grounds on Friday. The waking up everyday to a gloomy and grey skies with dark clouds dampen the spirits somewhat, signalling a perhaps hard semester to come...

Maybe taking six modules this sem would prove to be a mistake, but I sure hope not. Projects and presentations are piling up like rubbish in the landfills..and deadlines are spaced so tightly that I don't think I will be able to breathe until the exams are over! Projects, they are meant to be fun, but although the place is the same, the workload is as heavy and the expectations are the same if not higher, but the people are different and chemistry is something that does not exist, always. It's gonna be hard to churn out the same standard, even if so, it will be with a different 'feel' and that matters. But at least lecture times are still good for getting together.

But the thing is that within these two weeks of the new year, I have found out that there were more people in NTU than I expected...haha...glad to see familiar faces around. Lewis, Yiew Wei, Jianxiong, and some of the familiair faces which I can't put a name to..well, at least the world is not at NUS...=p

Recollecting the happy things...

I haven't put my heart and mind to blogging for a long time, even on NYE of 2005. I resolved not to dwell over the past year, since I had said so much about it bringing the ups and downs. But things have definitely been looking up since school started. And this time around, I spent NYE outside of home, for the 1st time in my life, at Orchard in fact. With company which neither of us could have imagined, but it sure was a BLAST!!! haha....

Spent the holidays of the new year shopping with my mum, haven't done that for a long time already. Where? Jurong Point...gosh...haha...oh well, splurge a little (sponsored though) on a new watch and a week later, on a new phone! Yes!!!

New watch: Casio MRP-700

Traded in my 6260 for $250 and got this N70 at an additional $248

Wow...I'm impressed by the 2m built-in camera!
