This has taken a day or two to sink in and I am right now still in the holiday hangover cum over-the-moon mood. Damn that I didn't get that scholarship from STB but well, I knew it was a goner from the moment I introduced myself...haha...anyway, dreams do come true.
My hands have been shaking many times since I tried to check the results using my N70 overseas and eveytime I saw only sem 1 results, I was disappointed yet heaved a sigh of relief. And finally when it was expected to be on 6 June, MSN nicks and SMSes on the night of 5th caused my whole body to tense up once more. And when this came on screen, I screamed so loud I woke my dad from his sleep..oops...:)
Beyond my wildest dreams, but it came true! I expected 'A-'s for most of the CS subjects since everyone seemed so pia this sem and only expected A for like 108...and marketing was a total flop up till exam day and I only craved for a B (yeah...it was that bad, I didn't know what I was writing in the answer booklet) and my CGPA is now4.74 4.73(98) and NTU had to truncate it...hopefully I can get into the dean's list, the last thing on my wish list...hehe...
And since the end of last sem I have been thinking about getting a job this holiday...since 3 months seems awfully long to pass without a thing to do. I registered in STARS for Biz Finance in Special Term 2 and later when CS227 Web Design and Management was said to accept students manually, I emailed the SCI office and when STARS revealed I got allocated nothing and Ms Susan didn't reply me, I assumed I was free for the hols...until yesterday.
WTH!!!Oh well, edveNTUre is known to cock up so I didn't really know if this was true and so I had to email good ol' Shawn and know what, I am in CS227 Special Sem 2! Like I am happy 'cos I thought that they did not want me to accelerate further considering I have already an extra 6 AUs in my belt for AY 05/06 and that this is a no-exam module, but it was still came as sort of a surprise for me...and now I am occupied for the hols...=p
Ah yes...I am back, so let's get those outings started? Haha...now I feel my hols are ending soon...
