School term is definitely not a good time to blog...it seems to be of the lowest priority, but afterall, it seems to be a way to relieve all the pent-up fustrations and all before I can move on.
Yes, I had several quizzes and mid-terms thus far, another one for biz finance is coming up on tuesday and I haven't gotten down to studying for it...damn...
MAF
Decided to go back to MAF last night, the 2nd time since I graduated, bad decision I guess, not many teachers were left (not that there were many in the first place), but at least caught up with Issac Koh. The turn-out was pretty disappointing, due to the haze perhaps. And to think I was standing at the balcony area when the PSI reached its peak of 150 yesterday at 9pm...
Some photos...

During mass dance, the central plaza was not even filled up. And I feel old, seeing those people playing with sparklers, jumping dand dancing around just turns me off...so childish =) But I am old lar...no need to argue. Choe wasn't there..funny...and PA has finally upgraded their equipment (see I knew that Chinese High would have enough money to do these kind of thing...) and the ancient dinosaurs in the PA room has been cleared out. Only thing was the resource room (yes the one I planned so hard for) is GONE! It is now part of the mother tongue department...I wonder where is the new room. Considering that they are facing shortage of space (3rd floor balcony is now classrooms), maybe PA has been relegated to some dusty corner of sorts...
Met some PA seniors and juniors, but only Jacelin from our batch, didn't find many CS people also, so I guess it was a really bad occassion...oh well...
Updates
So much have happened since the term started. Yes, the timetable was finally solved after the worst registration period ever.
And life started to get busy with the tons of readings which I resolved to read ahead of time this sem. I have managed to keep to that resolution for like 5 weeks and things started to go very wrong.
Broadcast Journ is really draining...coming up with story ideas and we must have good angles...arranging for interiews, only to discover we need to redo as it was not good enough, 2 weeks to complete one story (no matter the duration...)
Managed to scrap a pass (5/10) for assignment 1 and 18/25 for assignment 2 and there's still an assignment 3, a six-minute story...panic...
And if you meet idiotic bastards as your interviewee, whew...u're in for a ride...
My mind is drained of its creative juices this sem as not only broadcast journ needed it, 202 visual comm need it more...photomontage (which eventually turned out well) and a six-photo story (to be presented tomorrow) and then another 1-minute video which I have no ideas now...sigh...
And 203 newswriting is hell, I mean I know I can't write but being constantly put down (though in a funny way) is not exactly the most flattering thing to happen...
Biz finance is all maths and I have completely lost touch with it...am truly struggling with it, but lucky for me, I had a business graduate (private degree) member in my group, so the group presentation went well...
Management with humour...haha...dun wanna talk about it...lame...
And anyway, I decided to be silly enough to admist all these loads, be the digital editor for Chron and a whole deal of time on it, and take up URECA and be burden with a research project for the next 10 months or so...and yet do nothing at all during the term recess and am feeling totally unaccomplished right now...
Good news
But nonetheless, I do see light at the end of the tunnel. Hoping to pull through it all, I will be off to Chinese University of Hong Kong for one semester of exchange next year...dim sum, disneyland, macau...excited about it now...
And I have finally fulfilled my wish...I am on Dean's List!!! Kinda late in updating but was basking in the sense of satisfaction for quite some time...

And after the exams, that is about 1 month away (oh gosh!), I will be heading to Esatern Europe for my vacation...
There's so much to look forard to, but in the mean time, it's time to go back to that biz finance quiz, trend story assignment, 6-minute broadcast story, 1-minute 202 video and the 5000-word management project...sianzzzzzzzzzzz
